District Champs 2016

So this is one of my all time favorite pictures, and it just happened to make the newspaper.  Is that pure joy on both of their faces or what?  Hadley has been spoiled rotten with all the success our basketball teams have had over the course of the past 4 years.  We have gotten to cut down a ridiculous amount of nets.  She lives for these moments, I tell you.  So when she got to climb the ladder and cut down another set, she was over the moon.

Bree is a once in a lifetime type of player.  She has already signed to play basketball at Ole Miss and we couldn't be prouder of this girl and how she has grown as a person and a player during her time at Glasgow.  We cannot wait to see what her future holds for her.  We might just be watching her in the WNBA in a few years.  The fact that my kids love her and she's crazy about them makes it that much more special.
We love our unbelievable point guard, Elli, too.  She is a warrior and has already signed to play college ball at North Florida, as a junior.  Thankful we get to watch her play another year at Glasgow!

We love our KK, too! We love all our girls, but these are just a few I could actually catch up with.  Parents, grandparents, media, etc get these girl's attention after championship games.

We are so proud of Justin and how hard he works and for how he pours in to these young women each and everyday.  In the fall, one of his former players who now plays golf in college sent him the sweetest card ever telling him how much he meant to her and the impact he has had on her life.  We are just so proud of him!
Everyone at the ballgames constantly worries that I'm going to go in to labor with all the yelling and jumping I do.  Not to mention the close ballgames stress me out so much that my blood pressure has to be sky high.

Little Man is enjoying his collection of nets, too.  Canaan certainly keeps everyone entertained at the ballgames.  Hadley was my child who never said a word or initiated conversation at all.  Canaan, on the other hand, will say anything to anyone and it makes me a nervous wreck because I never know what is going to come out of that boy's mouth!

Way to go, Coach!!

We just need Baby Stinson to hold on a little longer so that we can finish our post season play.  Regional Tournament starts next week and we are hoping to make some noise at WKU.  We are so proud of these girls and what they have accomplished this year.  Go Lady Scotties!

Pirates and Princesses Dance

Our school hosted a Pirates and Princesses dance as a fundraiser for the Robotics Club.  We even had some students from the high school come dress up as "big girl" princesses.  Hadley decided she wanted to wear her Elsa gown and since we had a home ballgame that very same night, we cut out a little early and headed to the game.  Hadley stayed dressed in her Elsa gown during the entire game.  I think she liked everyone making a big deal over how pretty she was.
Hadley, Ellie, and Chloe all in their princess finest.  Love those sweet girls so much.

One of Hadley's friends from her class came to the dance, as well.  Hadley really didn't dance very much at all.  She was much more interested in just wandering around and watching everyone else.  She just enjoyed the dressing up part of the night.  I'm sure plenty of dancing will come over the next few years.  Wish we could just stay in the dress up years!

4D Ultrasound at 32 weeks

Can we just stop for a second and ooh and ahh over this bundle of preciousness?  This is our sweet baby at 32 weeks.  Because we still don't know what we are having and it's just killing me, I really felt the need to see my sweet baby.  I know it seems ridiculous, but I thought it would just help my heart some.  And you know what?  It totally did.  The ultrasound tech says this baby does indeed have hair, which makes me really excited.  Hadley had tons but Canaan had none.  I love how the baby has his or her hand up by its mouth. Oh, I cannot wait to hug and kiss those sweet cheeks!  In the mean time, keep on growing and developing little one.  You will be at home with the rest of our crazy crew before you even know it!

100th Day of School

The 100th Day of School is always a big deal in the world of elementary students.  We are celebrating Hadley being 100 days smarter, wiser, and more mature.  Oh, we love how this girl is growing this year.  She is reading and doing math that impresses the socks off of me.  I am so proud of my sweet girl.  If you are curious about this shirt, I will save you the time and energy.  There really are 100 H's on this shirt.

When we got to school, I just had to snap a picture under the celebratory 100th Day of School banner. I am so proud of you, Hadley Jewell Stinson!  Not only are you super smart, but you are kind to your friends and listen and follow directions well.  I know this, because your teacher tells me all the time.  In fact, she calls you "perfect."  Can't wait to see what the next seventy some odd bring us!  Love you bunches!
