I have secretly been wanting to have a blog for a looooong time, but frankly didn't have the courage to do it. I wondered if I even should considering I didn't start it from Hadley's birth and then the longer I put it off, the worse it seemed to start it! However, I so love reading other people's blogs and admire/appreciate the journal they are keeping for their families. So this is my attempt at keeping up with our family memories!
Our sweet Hadley girl is 2 years 5 months old. She was so much fun at Easter this year as she was able to actually run and understand that she needed to pick up the eggs. Such a difference from her first two Easters! Here's our little Easter bunny at 4 months (left) and 16 months (right). Oh so sweet!

I do love dressing Hadley up in Holiday/Seasonal-themed clothing while I still have the opportunity. Maybe it's the teacher in me, or maybe because I live in the most wonderful area in the world to get to experience all the seasons? I don't know, but it is a bit of an obsession.
After a great Easter service, we headed to Auburn to visit with our White/Hughes family. Nana and Grandaddy Hughes had their annual Easter egg hunt where Grandaddy still insists on dyeing eggs for every grandchild, grandchild-in-law, and now great-grandchildren. He even hand writes our names on each one. It is very special to me..

We ended the time with a delicious cookout. Cousins Amelia and Jack were in from Evansville and Hadley really took to Amelia, who is a year and a half older.
It was great to spend time with sweet family....I cherish those times. We had a wonderful Easter and are so very thankful, most of all, for the sacrfice Christ made for us on the cross at Calvary!!
